Dr. Patti Malone has always believed that great pediatric care comes from a blend of compassion, efficiency, and genuine connection with families. After completing her medical training at WVU and putting down roots in Morgantown, she set out to build a practice that reflected those values. In 2006, Cardinal Pediatrics opened its doors with the goal of providing high‑quality, family‑centered care to children across West Virginia.

As more families chose Cardinal for their children’s care, the practice grew steadily. Additional providers joined the team, each sharing the same commitment to accessible, relationship‑based pediatric care. Over time, Cardinal expanded to six locations across West Virginia, including Morgantown, Fairmont, Bridgeport, Parkersburg, and Wheeling, making it easier for families to find care close to home.

Today, Dr. Patti and the entire Cardinal Pediatrics team remain deeply committed to the communities they serve. They take pride in caring for children from infancy through adolescence and work hard to maintain close, trusting relationships with families. Same‑day sick visits, timely nurse callbacks, and a warm, kid‑friendly environment help ensure that Cardinal kids feel happy coming to the doctor — and the team is just as happy to watch them grow.
