Johnna grew up in a small town in Webster County and moved to Marion county after graduating from WVU School of Nursing in 2008. She spent most of her nursing career as a Pediatric ICU nurse. She spent time as a travel nurse working at different places such as Idaho, Virginia Beach and New Haven with her husband and daughter. However, her heart wanted to come back home to West Virginia. She has spent the last 3 years as a PICU nurse at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. Johnna then wanted to see her own patients grow and develop so she finished her master’s degree at the University of South Alabama to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.

She is so excited to start at Cardinal Pediatrics and loves to see kids of all ages.

Johnna has two beautiful girls, Peyton and Sophie. They all spend a lot of time dancing, singing Baby Shark, and love everything Disney.
