Fanny Murken, MD, FAAP
**Starting Mid-October 2021**
Fanny grew up in France and moved to Pittsburgh when she was in high school. She graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and went on to attend medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She then completed her pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2015, after which she practiced as a primary care pediatrician at CHOP until moving to Morgantown in 2020.
Fanny, her husband Douglas, and their two children Henri and Audrey now live in Morgantown. Fanny’s husband is a colorectal surgeon at WVU. They have quickly grown to love their new home in West Virginia and all that the Mountain State has to offer.
Fanny enjoys caring for kids of all ages and especially loves meeting new parents and guiding them through the joys and challenges of the first year of life. Her kids have been her best teachers and make her a better pediatrician every day. She cannot wait to meet the families of her community!
