Moriah was born and raised in Parkersburg, WV. She is a graduate of Parkersburg High School. Moriah attended West Virginia University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She then remained in Morgantown, WV working as a neonatal intensive care nurse at WVU Medicine. Moriah completed her Masters of Science in Nursing, Primary Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, from Vanderbilt University and returned home to Parkersburg. Seeing a need for the mothers of the Mid-Ohio Valley, Moriah went on to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). In response to the growing need for pediatric mental health care in the region, she completed certification as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist, deepening the level of care she provides to her patients.

Moriah and her husband reside in Vienna, WV with their two beautiful daughters Rae and Hazel.
